Oracle Database Administrator
Job Duties: Responsible for requirements gathering from Business Owners. Design, develop deploy and administer Oracle database systems in an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and OLAP environment on UNIX and Windows. Perform data analysis, data modeling (Physical and Logical), data migration and database design. Manage Oracle deployments in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Perform capacity planning and space management. Perform sizing of tables and indexes on multi-terabyte databases. Evaluate, set up and configure high availability options such as RAC, Data Guard and Replication. Set up Backup and Recovery strategies and procedures. Manage Database, OS and HW migrations and upgrades. Perform Load/Trend analysis. Manage all third party tools and package integration. Improve and resolve performance related issues including database and application tuning. Work on storage systems and OLAP design. Ensure security, reliability, availability and scalability. Manage production support and related issues. Implement and support CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline database development and deployment workflows. Work on Unicenter, Erwin data modeling, Oracle, EDW, OLAP, OEM DBA Tools, OCFS/RA, ETL, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripts on UNIX and Windows. Will work in Rocky Hill, CT and/or various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
Salary: $124,000/year
